Overview

Co-existing conditions such as anxiety disorders, stress, depression, grief and loss, to mention only a few are found to be road blocks to a successful recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. These co-existing conditions are assessed and addressed within the individualized treatment planning of the resident who enters the Cedars.

Related Disorder Management

Dealing With Other Issues - often times with addiction, a person will experience secondary disorders, such as depression, anxiety, etc., often removed once the use of drugs and/or alcohol has stopped.

The Cedars recognizes that there are a variety of co-existing conditions that may be present when an individual enters treatment. After a period of being alcohol and drug free, some of these condition may clear up, however others may continue to exist.
