Overview

Psychotherapy, much like individual therapy, uses different approaches and techniques to guide an individual in recognizing and solving problems in life that have become unmanageable.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy much like individual therapy, is an individual session between the therapist and the individual where different approaches and techniques are used to address problems that can effect mental health, emotions and behavioral problems. The primary purpose of psychotherapy is to address the issues that make it hard for the individual to manage their lives and achieve their goals. The therapy will help the individual to discover what areas of their lives are causing problems and set goals to resolve these problems. Because sensitive issues and topics are discussed between the therapist and the individual, therapists are expected and bound by law to respect the individuals privacy and confidentiality, as with all other treatment service the Cedars provides.
