Personal Adjustment Therapy

PAT allows an individual to become more aware of themselves and behaviors in the here and now

Personal Adjustment Therapy is based on Gestalt Therapy and Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs and is used in a group setting where residents participate in group activities. Its therapeutic value lies in becoming more aware of yourself and your behaviors in the here and now, being responsible for your thoughts and feelings and learning a better way to communicate. It allows the resident to become aware of personal needs and how to address them in personal life.
